2020 CCIH Annual Conference
Thursday, June 4 - Saturday, June 6, 2020
Location
Description
The CCIH 2020 Conference will be June 4-6 at Catholic University in Washington, DC, USA.
Our theme is Holistic Care of Body, Mind and Spirit, which is fundamental to Christian health care.
Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Christian healthcare is known for its holistic nature: we care for the person as a whole, including body, mind and spirit. Join us as we explore how we can:
- Live this truth out in communities and health care facilities.
- Care for the most vulnerable among us, including foreigners and refugees.
- Care for those with mental health issues and those with physical disabilities.
- Remember social determinants of health that affect each person within a community.
- Work as a faith community to contribute to the global sustainable development goals.

Pre-Conference
Pre-conference on Telling Your Story: 3 Steps to Better Communications
June 4 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
You know you’re making a difference. Your data shows you’re making a difference. But can you tell the story of how your organization helps people in a way that speaks to policymakers and funders? A story can break through the clutter, connect with people and motivate them to act. We’ll talk about the three steps to help you tell your story and give you practical skills to walk away with. We’ll lead you through the 3 Steps to Better Communications:
Step 1: Let’s build the foundation of effective communications with Storytelling and Analyzing our Audience
Step 2: Let’s talk about putting everything you learned to work for your organization to reach the right audiences, raise more money and help the women, children and families who are counting on you! Bring your laptop and phone. This is hands-on training!
Step 3: This step helps you reach the top! Let’s work together to understand how to evaluate who you are reaching and determine if your communications efforts are effective.
